This summer at Space Camp & Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama took place a workshop training for math and science teachers from all over the world. My application was admitted and the news of acceptance I received on my birthday! This was the most precious present I ever had !In the first week of the programme I was accompanied by other three Romaninans. This was my first visit in United States so I returned back with wonderful memories. The flight to Huntsville was weary , about 22 hours . It was strange that all the time was daylight, no evening at all!
At Frank Franz Hall where the accomodation was I met the other members of my group called Inspiration , leaded by a great trainer Rhonda Cox.
In our first day we made our Mission Patch .
The Mission Patch Descrription:
"Inspiration is the name of the group.There are 16 stars to represent the 16 members of Team Inspiration.The four flags represent the four different countries represented in the group.The rocket in the shape of a pencil represents the future of education.The light vector represents the lighting of students' interested in space.The apple represents the members of our team since we are all educators.The "pi" symbol represents our team leader ,Rhonda ,who is a math teacher.The Moon and Mars represents the future missions of NASA"

"Throughout the week at Space Academy for Educators , teachers experienced a wide variety of activities that use an engaging space focus to meet math and science objectives.
Teachersharing their love and passion for space , science and math present all the the activities and lessons. Teachers teaching other teachers is one of the unique things about this program."
